The world leader in gifted education since 1979, Johns Hopkins Center
for Talented Youth (CTY) is a nonprofit dedicated to identifying and
developing the talents of academically advanced pre-college students
around the world. A variety of exciting positions with CTY Summer Programs are available
at both their residential and day sites.
At
CTY, employees will work with an exceptional group of students, make contacts
and friendships with dynamic colleagues, and gain valuable experience in
a rigorous academic community. At residential sites, students and
staff live on campus throughout the session, interacting in a variety of
settings both inside and outside of the classroom. For staff working at
residential sites, room and board is provided in addition to salary. At
day sites, students and staff return home and the end of each program
day. Room and board is not provided or available for staff working at
day sites.

Mentoring/Instructional positions that may be appropriate for undergraduate students include:
- Health Assistant (must be first aid and CPR trained and at least 21 years old)
- Instructor (appropriate for students who have worked as tutors, TAs, EPASS mentors, etc.)
- Resident Assistant
- Resident Assistant - Marine Sciences
- Senior Resident Assistant
- Teaching Assistant
Administrative positions that may be appropriate for undergraduate students include*:
- Academic Dean's Assistant
- Office Manager
- Dean of Student's Assistant
- Residential Program Assistant
- General Assistant
- Program Assistant
*Must be at least 21 years old for most administrative positions.
