Optometry Virtual Fair

Still trying to figure out whether optometry is the right field for you? Wondering if you’re on track with optometry prerequisites? Want more information about individual programs? Contemplating whether you need more experience before applying? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, sign up to attend the free Optometry Virtual Fair to speak with admission representatives from optometry schools and colleges across the counrtry. 
 
This event, hosted by the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry, is a great opportunity for students at every stage - from those who have just started considering optometry to those who are currently in the application cycle - to get your most pressing questions answered from the comfort of your own computer!

Earn $80 for Participation in Emory School of Medicine Study

Opportunity to make some quick spending money while seeing what having your brain scanned is all about! Research study at Emory is seeking three volunteers without history of concussion/TBI, ages 18-40, to participate in the control group for their fMRI study dedicated to the assessment of traumatic brain injury. The participation includes two parts:
  1. MRI of the brain (1.5 hr)
  2. Visit to the concussion clinic where some testing will be done (1-1.5 hr). 
No preparation is needed. Participants are reimbursed $80 upon the completion of both parts.

Brain MRI sessions:
  • June 6 at 8:00am
  • June 13 at 8:00am
  • June 13 at 11:15am
The clinical visits will be scheduled at the participants' convenience within 2 weeks after the brain MRI.
