Baccalaureate is a unique Commencement tradition celebrating Emory
undergraduates’ academic and personal growth at Emory University and sending
them into the world with blessings. You can see last year’s Baccalaureate
ceremony here.
This year’s Baccalaureate will be
led by the Class of 2018 and will celebrate the extraordinary gifts they
contribute to Emory. This multireligious and polycultural rite of passage is a
time of thanksgiving for those who have imparted wisdom, nurtured creativity,
and fostered personal discovery and growth. Graduating students are invited to
contribute to the Baccalaureate ceremony by offering their personal
reflections, music, dance, art, or other expressions of growth and celebration.
