National Alliance of Research Associates Programs - Clinical Research Opportunities

The National Alliance of Research Associates Programs (NARAP) has clinical research opportunities available through their current study on implementing primary care cancer screening for patients and their visitors in the emergency department. Students and recent graduates are invited to apply to be part of this work that looks to enroll more than 300,000 participants nationwide.

The NARAP is accepting applications for their Line Research Associate and Chief Research Associate positions at their 15 Affiliates across the United States. Affiliates are in diverse hospital settings (academic centers, community teaching and community non-teaching) and catchment areas (urban/inner city, suburban and rural).

Line Research Associates Positions: In this position, students will volunteer one 4-hour shift per week as data collectors in the Emergency Department (additional shifts may be available). Line RAs will have the opportunity for extensive patient interaction by enrolling participants in clinical studies. Short-term, summer positions available.

Chief Research Associates Positions: In this position, college graduates will serve 20 hours per week as middle managers of RA programs at NARAP Affiliate hospitals. Chief RAs will be involved in all aspects of an emergency department's clinical research.
