Research opportunity for recent and soon-to-be graduates: the laboratory of Dr. Laura Stroud at Brown University has an opening for a full-time research position involving a longitudinal study of substance use during pregnancy and infant behavior, brain development, and biology.
This position involves the opportunity to be uniquely trained in developmental examinations in newborns in the hospital and through home visits in the Providence, RI area and to be trained in placenta collection. The research assistant would also be involved with dataset management, data entry, and data analysis. Additional responsibilities include assistance with recruitment and screening. Research experience, background in statistics/SPSS and REDCap data entry is an asset. Evening and weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.
This position will provide opportunities to conduct independent research, submit presentations to conferences, prepare papers for publication.
