Campus Leadership Opportunities for 2018-2019 Academic Year

Orientation Leaders
Apply to be a 2018 Orientation Leader! Orientation Leaders (OLs) help guide incoming students through the transition to Emory University. They serve as University liaisons to all new students and families and have the responsibility of representing the University during an intensive, week-long Orientation session held the week prior to the start of classes. Orientation Leaders play a critical role in the academic, emotional, and cultural integration of students into the University as the school year begins. Emory College Honor Council
Are you interested in protecting academic integrity on campus? The Emory College Honor Council is seeking students to serve on the Honor Council, the Appeal Panel, and the Summer Honor Council in the 2018-2019 academic year. Eligibility to serve on the Honor Council is determined by your expected graduation date. Members will earn two academic credits each semester they serve by participating in the Honor Council Practicum course. 
Academic Fellows
Academic Fellows mentor incoming international first-year and transfer students, providing support during the summer prior to their arrival and throughout their first year. Both domestic and international students are encouraged to apply! This is a great chance to make friends from around the world while developing new skills and competencies.
Undergraduate Writing Tutors
The Emory Writing Center is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Undergraduate Writing Tutor positions. Tutors work with writers from a variety of disciplines, levels, and language backgrounds. Tutors also participate in ongoing professional development and have opportunities for research, leadership, and community engagement. This challenging and rewarding position cultivates skills valued by graduate schools and employers. Tutors work 6-10 hours per week. Pay is $10 per hour.
