The University of Northern Iowa’s Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services
program is an extraordinary opportunity for university and college-age
students to participate in a worthwhile and valuable service learning
experience. Camp Adventure provides a wide array of opportunities to
serve children and youth, integrate theory with practice, develop new
knowledge, skills and competencies, as well as to be a part of a
worthwhile endeavor.
Participating students have traveled to over 150 program sites in 19 countries, including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, and across the United States. Students' living expenses and travel are paid. The largest program takes place during the summer months for approximately 10 weeks.
