Explore the great outdoors and learn from physicians who work around the world through the University of Colorado School of Medicine's Emergency & Wilderness Medicine class. The Winter class takes place January 2-13, 2018.
Taught by Colorado' s Medical School faculty and physicians, this course offers:
· Med school labs
· ER shadowing
· CPR certification
· EMS ride-alongs
· Med school campus tour
· Optional academic credit
· Wilderness First Responder Certification
· Health profession talks from docs, nurses, PAs, and admission directors,
· Rocky Mountain camp experience (hike, snowshoe, sled, snowcaves, etc.)
Space is limited so early registration is recommended. The deadline to apply for need-based scholarships and early bird discounts is October 31, 2017.
