The Emory Association for Chronic Disease Awareness (ACDA) strives to promote chronic
disease awareness and prevention efforts within the Emory community and
greater Atlanta area through a series of community service and social
events, including hosting a concert at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta each semester. By actively engaging with the Emory student body in teaching
about different chronic diseases and health related issues, the
organization hopes to serve as a source of information for those
interested or affected by Chronic Diseases.
The Executive Board is hoping to expand ACDA this year and are interested in hearing your ideas for making the community more aware of chronic disease. Applications are currently open for first year students only.
