Emory Undergraduate Global Health Organization - General Interest Meeting

Emory Undergraduate Global Health Organization (EUGHO) serves to provide information and opportunities for student action concerning international health issues. This is not just an organization for those minoring in global health, but one in which anyone interested in all aspects of global health can join and hopefully learn and grow in his/her understanding of world health issues.

EUGHO will be participating in volunteer opportunities both on and off campus such as Quilt on the Quad, World AIDS Day, Medshare International, various health walks, and educational trips to centers like the CDC and the Carter Center.

Volunteer with Project Shine!

Project Shine is a volunteer organization that serves Atlanta's refugee and immigrant populations through weekly volunteer trips. Student Alliance for Health Involvement (SAHI) Info Session


The Student Alliance for Health Involvement (SAHI) aims to promote health and healthy behaviors among people in both the Emory and greater Atlanta communities through health fairs, screenings, and educational projects focusing on treatment and prevention of many chronic diseases. Along with community service by providing health care, SAHI exposes students the various areas within healthcare and allows students to network through its partnerships with local professionals and organizations, preparing students for futures in healthcare.

Emory Pipeline Info Sessions - Sophomores Only

Are you interested in mentoring high schools students? If so, make sure to attend one of the upcoming Emory Pipeline information sessions! This is an excellent opportunity for pre-health students to gain meaningful service and leadership experience.

Pipeline is a multi-tiered, interdisciplinary mentorship and health science education program connecting South Atlanta School of Health and Medical Science students with Emory University undergraduate, graduate, public health and medical students. Due to the 3-year commitment required (mentors stay with their mentees through their senior year of high school), only Sophomores are eligible to apply.

If you answered ‘yes’ to the questions above, don’t miss the opportunity to apply for the D. Abbott Turner Program in Ethics and Servant Leadership (EASL) Forum through the Emory Center for Ethics. Fifteen undergraduate and graduate students will be selected to take part in this academic program which includes service projects, community excursions, film discussions, and guest speakers, all with the goal of exploring paths toward a more just and ethically engaged society.

Southeastern Medical Scientist Symposium in Atlanta



The Southeastern Medical Scientist Symposium (SEMSS) is an annual meeting of MD-PhD students, MD students, and undergraduates from the southeastern United States. This year's symposium is being hosted by Emory's Medical Scientist Training Program and is happening right here in Atlanta!

The goal of the SEMSS is to bring together faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates to foster discussion about physician scientist career paths and research and encourage a collaborative and interdisciplinary educational environment within the region.

Dates: November 18-19, 2017
Cost: $25 (Early Bird by September 1); $35 (regular)
